His Life, Love and Light

His Life is the only true life

That can breath into the tombs of our past

The only breeze, that takes the stench of death away.

If we let Him.

Though for a short time we are left exposed and bare,

His arms embrace the humble heart.

He breathes into us His Life

Again and Again.

He wants to.

His Love is secure,

It does not change,

like shifting shadows.

It was I who tried to deny,

His Story.

It is I who tried to defy

His Love.

For me.

For others.

Even when I rejected Him

He still wanted me.

His Light is the only light

That can lead us to the door where freedom is found

To guide us on the paths of rocky ground.

His light is not generated

From the turning of a turbine

It is not a reflection

Like the Moon is to the Sun

He is the Bright Morning Star

His Light always was, and always will be,

Pure.

One day, when this earthly veil is lifted

We will see him as He is

His Light will not leave any shadows

Just patterns- as light falling through stained glass

Shining though our transparent, cleansed hearts.

Now purified by fire,

cleansed by grace

Our trials will allow Him to shine through us

And reveal his Holy face.
