Bearing Witness to the Light XXX...What...Time of Day?

J.M.J. + O.B.T. + M.G.R

And there was evening and morning,
the 1,461,000th day...

...the true day commences when darkness covers the earth, when the sun ceases to shed light upon our station in life.  This is the true scriptural interpretation.  New day is here when the sun "dies." Now this day moves forward in deepening darkness, as candles are lit, watchmen man their posts and stars mark the passing of time through the distances of heavenly splendor. The moon serves humanity by keeping the memory of the sun alive (except when it too "dies"). This New day is not-so-new by the time morning nautical twilight (BMNT) breaks over the eastern horizon to illumine the sky with its warm rays that call creation back to active life. This is really the Gospel story. This is how the Holy Family lived for the day.

Was there a siesta?

One thing is certain, travel normally occurred during the night, especially in the hot summer.

Manna arrived at sunrise, quail near sunset...

Another thing is certain, there was a lot of waiting around for people to try to coordinate anything and the virtue of patience was tested in earnest.

Now how does that song go.... Oh, yeah, what a difference a day makes...

Sincerely yours
in Jesus through Mary,
