Bearing Witness to the Light IX...A Perspective on the Fifth Mystery of Light

How does one begin to grasp the meaning of why 
light's speed, squared has anything at all to do with two
universally present realities, energy and mass?

It is logical to conclude that energy and matter (with mass)
are related.  Light a match and you see the combustion,
sense the light and heat (the chemical energy)
and the burnt wooden matchstick.

It is much more difficult to link them
to a huge number 9 x 10¹⁶ m²/s².

And this number is "contained" in nuclear bonds that are found
at the subatomic level where the nuclear strong force exists.

Strongest force in the material world
Fastest speed in the material world
Bonding the smallest components of the material world

The Holy Eucharist
The Fifth Mystery of Light
being the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity 
of Jesus Christ
is strong, fast (space/timeless)
and lovingly bonding us little ones.

This little Host of Mine....

God spoke mass/energy into being
with the words "Let there be light."
