Catholics should commit to memory.

We might write it down to serve us
 at times when we are challenged by
our Protestant brothers and sisters.

Hebrews 4:12

For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

Word of God...
BOTH living AND active
Two-edged sword piercing...
BOTH soul AND spirit
BOTH joints AND marrow
Able to judge...
BOTH thoughts AND intentions

The Word of God,
the Bible is 
BOTH/AND
at His heart.
