It really is not rocket science...

OLD COVENANT

Moses listened to the voice of God
and climbed Mount Horeb (Mt. Sinai)

Attracted by the supernatural light
of the Burning Bush
He stepped on the spiritual
(as well as physical) High Ground
   
He received the Word/Name of God...

YHWH

He was later inspired by the Spirit of God
to author the Word of God/Torah 

YHWH 
"I Am Who Am"
(Exodus 3:14) 

Moses' face received the light of this fiery bush...
witness to a profound encounter with the Almighty.

Moses was clearly given instrumentality by God
and mastery over creation and its physical laws

"Thus saith the Lord"
is key to this understanding.

When the Lord God saith
there the Word of God 
is made present.

There is the Second Person of God.

There is the Person
that is to be Jesus Christ

NEW COVENANT 

 Moses was again present,
attracted by the Light of the World

(six days after Jesus asked his disciples
who do people say I AM?) 
 
This time to the High Ground 
at Mt. Tabor (Mt. Hermon?)
to bear witness to the miracle
of the Transfiguration

The Fourth Mystery of Light
in the life of Jesus Christ
(Mark 9:2-9)
  
YHWH...E=mc²  

 They are related
because everything
(spiritual/physical)
 was created through, 
with, in and for Jesus Christ.

This points directly to Holy Mass
during the Liturgy of the Eucharist
when the Doxology is proclaimed
by the priest/bishop in persona Christi   

   Through Him, with Him and in Him
in the unity of the Holy Spirit
all glory and honor
is yours Almighty Father
forever and ever.
