Higgs Boson/Field and the Altar of Science

Worshipping at the altar of science

The experimental method known as science, you see, was founded by Christians who wanted to explore the universe for the glory of God and the benefit of mankind. But when you remove God from that equation, then man is the final arbiter of what is good and what is bad, what is morally acceptable and what is not. The result of this is the embrace of godless concepts like evolution and communism, which in turn leads to such inhumane practices as eugenics (which means “a good birth”) and euthanasia (“a good death”) ? in short, the perverting of language to redefine ethical norms.

This is because man is a fallen creature, whose heart is “deceitful above all things and desperately wicked” (Jer. 17:9). Yet liberals believe in the inherent goodness of man, so they end up essentially deifying human reason and science. They believe, as the proponents of the French Revolution did, that doing so will lead to a more enlightened and civilized world. But history has repeatedly shown that such humanistic folly always ends in a bloodbath of epic proportions and atrocities that shock the world hundreds of years after they are committed.

Now that the hoopla has settled down and the CERN particle accelerator is in sleep mode (switched off), it is time to comment on the hubris of the destructive materialism at the heart of the ATLAS/CMS project to find the so-called "God Particle," the Standard Model's theoretical Higgs boson.

I cannot help but think that there has been a duping here. When $10 billion and potentuially mega-billions of future scientific grant money is at stake, along with countless reputations, we should appreciate the potential for a "false flag" event. Statistics can and often do lie, and to interpret them as gospel requires blind faith in the scientific method.

I sense a fair amount of wishful thinking in official statements like:

..."the new particle is looking more and more like a Higgs boson."

..."Whether or not it is a Higgs boson..."

..."things look good so far for those rooting for a Standard Model Higgs"

Hmmm? What if the April 1, 2013 headlines had read:

ABYSMAL FAILURE!
3,000 top scientists pack their bags
and vow never to return

No Higgs found!

"Great waste of time and energy"

But what if this much money was invested in the prayerful pursuit of fusion energy for the betterment of all mankind. Would we be closer to realizing the potential?

Protons (electron-less Hydrogen) were smashed and annihilated at CERN in a theoretical attempt to try to recreate underground, the first moment of Creation.

Hydrogen's deuterium and tritium isotopes bond after overcoming equal and opposite (repelling) positive charges to become helium which releases high energy to be harnessed for the good of mankind (just like the sun's fusion dynamic that sends light energy to earth). This requires extremely high temperature/pressure— the key stumbling blocks...

Fusion of deuterium with tritium creating helium-4, freeing a neutron, and releasing 17.59 MeV of energy, as an appropriate amount of mass changing forms to appear as the kinetic energy of the products, in agreement with kinetic E = Δmc², where Δm is the change in rest mass of particles.^[1]

It may be me, but I see nuclear fusion

as the prime analogy inferior and manifestly subordinate to the absolute Mystery of Light

taking place at the Holy Altar.

The Body (matter) (²H deuterium)

and Blood (soul/spirit) (³H tritium)

are made really present

and thus united at Holy Mass,

i.e., Corpus Christi...
