Center of Mass, Real and Simple

There is a term for it in engineering.  Center of Mass is a principle that determines the form and function of just about any object that has a practical use in advanced weaponry.  It is the seat of power in a fighting force.  The Prussians called it the schwerpunkt.  It was the seed of blitzkrieg.

For the Church Militant, we too have our focus, our center of gravity, our CENTER OF MASS.

REMEMBER

Catholic theologians such as St. Thomas Aquinas have employed the Aristotelian concepts of substance and accident (based on his understanding of essence and energeia) in articulating the theology of the Eucharist, particularly the transubstantiation of bread and wine into Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of the Real Presence. According to this tradition, the accidents of the bread and wine do not change, but their substances change from bread and wine to the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ.

Real and simple!
