There is a deep spiritual reality contained in the process of baking bread.  I am only now learning to appreciate the power of this traditional family activity centered in the hearth, the heart of the home.

Bread, crusty, airy, chewy bread... 

This loaf shows the breakout, the coming forth of life. 

It is so inspiring to lift up the lid of the Lodge and peek at the pro-creative effort.

Makes you think, doesn't it?  It puts things into perspective too.
