Novena to the Holy Spirit and Mary's role in Salvation

Each day we pray this tri-part, nine-day prayer after the Liturgy of the Hours I cannot help but think of Mary and the Apostles in the Upper Room, the Cenacle in Jerusalem. The words echo human sentiments that are eternal—pain and longing at the core of our being. There must have been great sorrow in the hearts of the Twelve and for Mother Mary, tremendous anticipation of a second mystical encounter with her Spouse, the Holy Spirit. And it happened directly above the alleged Tomb of King David....amazing

If the first encounter gave human life to the child Jesus and the second encounter at Pentecost gave Divine Life to Christ's Church, then a third encounter during the last days will be the ushering in of the Second Coming of Christ. The Blessed Mother Mary will be there...you can count on it. The Book of Revelation, Chapter 12 makes her role as the New Ark of the Covenant abundantly clear.
