God's Rainbow in its original integrity

The Blessed Virgin Mary's hopeful smile is clearly the focal point of the above image. Painted by Jan Oliver and entitiled The Promise of Hope, it shows Mary with the Christ child and John the Baptist as children. It is part of the "Fairest of All" Collection that is currently on display at the University of Dayton website.

The Promise, the Covenant is represented by the rainbow.

I  post it here as a response to the onslaught of rainbow based images the homosexual lobby is parading before the American public as it continues its assault on the Sacrament of Marriage and God's covenant with mankind.

The Blessed Virgin Mary is the Queen of Heaven and Earth and the Queen of the Rainbow.  The Rainbow connects the Old and New Testaments (Genesis, Ezekiel and Revelation).  St. John the Baptist and Jesus span "the fullness of time" like the rainbow spans the heavens.

Don't we find it a little bit strange the way drag queens and other identity challenged human beings attack the symbols of the Catholic Church, (to include nuns in habits) as part of their very sad displays of indecent behavior (last year they received Holy Communion after this picture was taken).

We must love them...but hate this behavior. God help us if we don't.
