IMAGINE...A Universal Corpus Christi Moment

IMAGINE IF...

Pope Francis would on the spur of the moment decide
to take to the open seas and cross the Atlantic 

on a ship destined for the Port of Corpus Christi, Texas. 

There would be deep symbolic meaning for his ship 
(OLS Stella Maris?) to sail beyond Padre Island, 
through the waters of the Laguna Madre 

and under the light bearing Corpus Christi 
Harbor Bridge that connects

 the Texas State Aquarium (fish->Eucharist) 
with the Santa Maria replica 

for the the 500th Anniversary
of Columbus' inspired maiden voyage 

to the New World in1492. 

He could make it here for the October 7^th, Feast of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary and his onboard social media broadcasts/teachings would serve as an inspiring, joyful call for the world to universal Mass witness: praying, fasting and giving alms—keys to the original feast and the successful Battle of Lepanto in 1571. 

We need a witness of solidarity 

and a miracle of faith right now, 

before the Middle East situation 

really explodes into mass chaos.
