Marshall McLuhan, a prophet in his own right...on the New Age

J.M.J. + O.B.T. + M.G.R.*

"Art at its most significant is a Distant Early Warning System that can always be relied on to tell the old culture what is beginning to happen to it."

i.e., look at Obama's graphic art, his logo and see what he intends to convey to the masses.

"Ideally, advertising aims at the goal of a programmed harmony among all human impulses and aspirations and endeavors. Using handicraft methods, it stretches out toward the ultimate electronic goal of a collective consciousness."

i.e., see how New Age harmony and oneness of consciousness is being propagated as America's only hope. This Audacity of Hope as delivered by her newly elected messiah.

"Innumerable confusions and a feeling of despair invariably emerge in periods of great technological and cultural transition."

i.e., understand that what you are feeling right now, that choked-up throat and nagging pain in your belly is a natural physiological reaction to the emergence of what the New Age claims to be of the immanent god in us. I bet the faithful Israelites felt the same way when the Golden Calf was being forged.

Like I am apt to remind my dear cousin, "we are in deep kimchi."

... and at Holy Mass we are constantly reminded to pray for the conversion of heart of all those leaders who are disregarding God's natural law.

Please Lord Jesus, schedule a living encounter
with Barach Obama and teach him your ways.

Ask St. Paul to help, he knows what it means
to be knocked off a high horse by your LIGHT.

Sincerely yours in Jesus and Mary,
