Pages 72-73 from this 1999 book by Londa Schiebinger reveal another close association between transubstantiation and Albert Einstein's life and legacy.

I offer this as food for thought to anyone reading this who is interested in finding out more about Einstein's unfinished business, his Grand Unified Theory as it relates to a central tenet of Catholicity, the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Mystery of Light, the Holy Eucharist, the source and summit of our faith.

Because the two words are close to each other in the paragraph? Thats a stretch...

tb, I thank you for your comment. I have to ask you this though, have you ever understood the phrase "reading in context?" Not just the words but their meaning as intended by the author who has a message to convey.

If you reread this passage slowly and in context and see both the forest and the trees and you might come to understand that transubstantiation and Einstein are associated in the author's mind. The cartoon at the bottom with its E=mc2 balloon reinforces the concept she is trying to convey.
