Being Children of Hope

J.M.J. + O.B.T. + M.G.R.*

HOPE springs eternal,
for HE is realized at each and every Catholic Mass
every hour of every day, everywhere in this world

O Come let us adore Him!

The first book I purchased after my reversion in April 1998 was entitled Saintly Companions. It details the relationships of canonized saints (and blesseds) to one another—how they are linked together in time and space and life purpose

For example:

St. Rose of Lima (one of my patrons), St. Martin de Porres and St. Turibio, their bishop were a triad of holiness in the fledgling church of South America (Lima, Peru). The first two worked with poor, sick and destitute in the streets and the third was the wise bishop who sponsored and guided their efforts.

St. Monica and St. Augustine (mother and son)
St. Basil and St. Gregory (brothers)
St. Benedict and St. Scholastica (brother and sister)
St. Francis and St. Clare (childhood friends)

Much can be gleaned about the workings of the Holy Spirit by observing how He moves souls to share their gifts for the sake of the Kingdom.

WHEN YOU ARE DOWN AND TROUBLED, REMEMBER...

WE ARE NEVER ALONE!

Sincerely yours in Jesus and Mary,
Mike Rizzio, SOLT
