Stone Ground Truth

J.M.J. + O.B.T. + M.G.R.*

The Fourth of July is a celebration of light,
albeit secular and food, albeit junk food.

Ask an American to abstain from fireworks,
a hotdog, a burger and a beer
on Independence Day and
you might as well have committed
treason or even worse.

I exaggerate this point, only because it may make
us all think about what is really important,
i.e., the STATE OF OUR SOUL.

Jesus died like wheat to give us hope
for eternal life in Him.

He was "stone ground" a seed that died,
crushed under the weight of sin
in order to live again and bear abundant fruit.

This is bedrock TRUTH
from the mouth of the
Way, the Truth and the Life.

This stone ground wheat is the matter
of the Holy Eucharist.

Sincerely yours in Jesus and Mary,
Mike Rizzio, SOLT

Actually the story of Jesus (as rep. in the Bible) is a complete pack of lies. For centuries before the supposed "year 0"!! the Egyptians and Greeks told fables to their kids about magical men (known as Sun Gods, cos they were ALL born on Sunday 25th December) who had been born to a virgin woman and a God, or supernatural entity. They're are about 30 odd of these fables including Dionysus, Mythras etc.
So, if Jesus did exsist (I think he prob. did) we are not getting the truth brother, & perhaps the Da Vinci Code wasn't too removed from fact.

peace.

Anyone who has followed this blog knows that typology is a key to understanding both human history and mankind's quest for God's Truth.

Typology exists where the antecedent is fulfilled both in symbol and in reality over time. The ultimate and universal proceeding is the coming of the Son of God, the God-Man, Jesus Christ in the fullness of time.

Even if there were a thousand tales of superhumans in history the imagination of a human mind is a far cry from Divine Revelation.

Thanks for the post.
