A Day without Yesterday

Fr. Georges Lemaitre and Albert Einstein

J.M.J. + O.B.T. + M.G.R.*

"Placing" God above and beyond the the reach of science and the physical realm seems the safest way to protect and defend the doctrines of our faith, but is it really?

When we consider the life of Jesus Christ, who is both fully God and fully man, a life filled with mystery and both/and relationships, we must acknowledge the inherent nature of the one mediator between God and man for through, with and in Him all things were made...

and yet "putting" God into the gaps unexplained by science is also a great mistake.

This question might best be answered if we see with both eyes and breath with both lungs.

So we do not separate God from His creation and we don't limit God by His creation.

Fr. Georges Lemaitre seemed to do just this when in 1933 he proposed the theory that we know today as the Big Bang.

The linked article will explain how Fr. Lemaitre was a BRIDGE BUILDER—we should all consider this vocation as our own. http://catholiceducation.org/articles/science/sc0022.html

Jesus Christ is not IN THE GAPS, HE BRIDGES THE GAP!
