When you start to ponder the significance of early images of the Second Person of the Most Holy Trinity you see that we have lost the deep connection that kept the fire burning through three centuries of suffering and persecution.

The daily bread, the Holy Eucharist, the World's Greatest Secret, the Light, Life and Love that sustained a movement through thick and thin...could some of the greatest human beings of recorded history been duped?

St. Augustine, St. Patrick, St. Benedict, St. Gregory the Great, St. Dominic, St. Francis of Assisi, St. Albert and St. Thomas Aquinas, St. John of the Cross, St. Therese of Lisieux, Mother Teresa of Calcutta, Pope John Paul II...

Could they all be dead wrong? Morever is there a list that can match this august assembly (and I have only scratched the surface)?
