The Forgotten Trinity?

J.M.J. + O.B.T. + M.G.R.*

Dear friends in Christ,

Having jsut reread signifiicant portions of the The Forgotten Trinity by James R. White, I find myself ready to chomp on the bit and start the essay that I mentioned in yesterday's blog.

This 224 page offering from Bethany House Publishers that I originially purchased in 1999, continues to serves as a powerful reminder of just how much we have lost in the translation of our Christian faith to modern times and cultural values.

Fr. Mitch Pacwa (of EWTN) writes on the The Forgotten Trinity book jacket:

"My church is entering the new millennium with a three year focus on the Blessed Trinity. Dr. White highlights this vital truth: the Mystery of the Trinity is truly related to how we love God. Our Faith in the Trinity is the same: one God, three coequal persons."

We must rediscover this foundational truth...we cannot wait.

Sincerely yours in Jesus and Mary I am,
