Today on the Feast of St. Ephraem,
the "Sun of the Syrians" we take comfort in his reflection:

I began to wander
amid things not described.
This is a luminous height,
clear, lofty and fair.

O Jesus, glorious name,
hidden bridge which carries one over
from death to life,
